Then, on April 9, 1994, Wayne found love again, marrying Kathleen McCrone, a lawyer from North Olmsted, Ohio.

In 1991, Wayne and Kathleen met during one of his Las Vegas performances. Kathleen is a lawyer who works with legal cases in court. They fell in love and got engaged after being together for two years. In April 1994, they got married at Wayne’s old home, called Casa de Shenandoah, in Nevada. Their family grew with the arrival of another daughter in 2002.

Wayne Newton decided to keep his shows going at Flamingo Las Vegas for even longer, adding 62 more dates.
His special show, “Wayne: Up Close and Personal,” in the Wayne Newton Theater will continue until June 12, 2024. This means that Mr. Las Vegas will be performing even after 65 years since his first time on a Vegas stage.

Newton made a big announcement during the “Today” show on NBC on August 29. He also shared a special memory from Vegas when he performed at the grand opening of T-Mobile Arena in 2016.
He talked about how he decided to honor all the great performers who shaped Las Vegas, like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and others. He mentioned, “When I got to the last song, I closed it with ‘My Way.’ And while I was singing, everybody in that audience turned on their light on their phone and the lighting guy turned out the lights in the room. And I realized I was crying when it was over.”
